Tambour work is a fascinating technique used for bead embroidery (also known as French embroidery beading) as well as decorative chain stitch embroidery. Needlework techniques such as Couching and goldwork were historically used to decorate priestly gowns. However, these days, they are often employed to add fascinating, luxurious, and highly elaborate details to textiles.
This presents a wonderful opportunity to learn how to use a tambour hook or engage in goldwork embroidery in a small group class. You can choose the technique that you'd like to learn with us.
